The Church Tower & the Wolf. Even before its wide acceptance in Austria, we were familiar with the barrique method.
Our best red wines still ripen in small oak barrels, either as single grapes or as cuvees of strong character, made from both domestic and international vines.
A good example for this philosophy that reaches further than just the church tower in Höflein is our "Amarok" (Inuit: wolf), a powerful cuvee of the highest international quality level, made from Zweigelt, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
